Lack of the grain hoppers in Kazakhstan entails losses

If we compare this situation with the past marketing year, then we will see that exports volume has increased by 12%. Namely, the traffic increased to such countries as Turkmenistan (31%), China (18%), Uzbekistan and Russia (12%), Kyrgyzstan (10%).

However, according to the earlier reports of IA “Kazah-zerno”, it is known that the agrarians are not satisfied with the number of grain hoppers. If we talk numbers, only North-Kazakhstan region needed more than 1000 grain hoppers, and they managed to get only a little more than 300.

Due to the current situation on the railway, Kazakhstan grain traders incur huge losses, and lose significant sales markets, because the key to successful sales of the goods is quality and delivery in good time. If the Kazakh agrarians have no problems with the first condition, then for a number of reasons, it is simply not possible to provide delivery in good time. Some regions did not receive even 10% of the declared number of grain hoppers.

In addition to the loss of markets, Kazakh farmers cannot make payments on loans, leasing and this even applies to staff salaries. Insufficient number of grain hoppers is a problem of the whole country. Grain producers in the north suffer from inability to sell the crop, and as a result, there is no opportunity to pay off creditors and in the south flourmills are unable to work, since there is no raw materials.

The problem of lack of grain carriers in Kazakhstan and its consequences

The shortage of grain carriers in Kazakhstan has become a serious problem that has a negative impact on the country’s economy and agriculture. The lack of vehicles for transporting grain affects the entire chain of production and marketing of grain crops.

One of the main reasons for the lack of grain carriers is an outdated and insufficient vehicle fleet, unable to cope with the growing demand for grain transportation. This leads to delays in harvesting and delivery of crops, increased storage costs and losses for agricultural producers.

The consequences of the shortage of grain carriers in Kazakhstan are being felt at various levels. These include reduced agricultural productivity and efficiency, loss of international competitiveness, and losses for farmers who are forced to sell their crops at lower prices due to their inability to transport crops quickly and efficiently.

Solving the problem of shortage of grain carriers requires an integrated approach, including the modernization of the fleet, the development of infrastructure and the improvement of logistics processes. This will ensure more efficient and timely transportation of grain.
