As of September 17, in the East-Kazakhstan region grain was harvested from the territory of 265 thousand hectares, which is almost half of the total area allocated for cereals.

From one hectare, the harvest was 1.6 tons.

Under spring wheat, 35% of the area was harvested, which amounted to 115 thousand hectares. From one hectare it was received 1.53 tons. Harvesting of barley is completed by 80%, oats – by 82%, millet was harvested from 40% of the area.

The yield of the above-mentioned crops was 1.47 t/ha, 1.71 t/ha and 2.1 t/ha, respectively.

In total, 0.42 million tons of grain crops were harvested.

In Eastern Kazakhstan, over 50% of the grain fields have been harvested. According to preliminary data, a good harvest of wheat, barley, and maize is expected. Planting was successful, and favorable weather conditions have helped with plant growth. In addition, farmers used modern technologies and high-quality seeds, which will positively affect the yield. A high yield of grain crops will strengthen the economy of the region and ensure food security for the country. Overall, a successful agricultural campaign in Eastern Kazakhstan is an important step towards developing the agricultural sector and strengthening the economic position of the region.
