Ulyanovsk region (Kazakhstan) increases agricultural exports

The authorities of the region plan to increase agricultural exported during the following 4 years to reach the level of 72 million dollars.

To achieve this indicator, it is necessary to increase the production of grain and oilseeds, as well as their processing. According to the goals, in 2024, the grain crops in the Ulyanovsk region should be almost 2 million tons, and oilseeds around 400 thousand tons.

It is expected to harvest 1.3 million tons of grain and 335 thousand tons of oilseeds this season.
Agricultural producers in this region are determined to improve existing elevators in order to incease the share of the products with high margin. Currently, the region has 19 enterprises that can accomodate up to 1 million tons of products.

Over the past 2 years, 5 idle elevators have been restored.

Modern grain storage is key to export efficiency

To support the growing agro-export potential of Ulyanovsk Oblast and Kazakhstan, the implementation of modern grain storage infrastructure becomes crucial. One of the most effective solutions is the installation of high-capacity steel silos from the British manufacturer  Bentall Rowlands.
