Kazakhstan’s grain reserves increase
During the period from August to October, the grain balance in the Republic of Kazakhstan remained positive. The amount of incoming grain was sufficient for all the needs of the country, such as food, fodder and exports. However, most of the grain was received in September. During this month, stocks of almost every kind of grain crops increased more than 2 times, but rice and maize were received in the biggest amounts. The volume of these types of grain crops increased by 7.03 and 4.54 times.
In October, the amount of grain received were already less, in comparison with the previous months and also with the same period last year. The least was the supply of wheat and millet, and the amount of rye even decreased. However, the volumes of corn and buckwheat again increased more than 2 times.
It should be recalled that according to statistical data, as of September 1, the amount of grain in storage facilities reached almost 6.57 million tons of grain, and by October 1 this figure has increased to more than 18 million tons. As of November 1, the amount of grain in storage facilities was already over 20 million tons, which indicates a growth by 11.1%.
Cereal crops are one of the main elements of the economy of Kazakhstan and occupy a significant part of land resources. In recent years, the country continues to increase the production of grain crops, which has a positive effect on the country’s economy and ensures the stability of the production of bread and other food products.
According to the Ministry of Agriculture of the Republic of Kazakhstan, this year grain reserves increased by 7.2% compared to last year and amounted to more than 22 million tons. Such an increase in grain production is due to the development of agriculture in the regions of the country and the active support of the state in this area.
In addition, Kazakhstan is one of the largest exporters of grain crops in the world. Grain products from Kazakhstan are exported to more than 80 countries of the world, including the countries of Asia, Europe and the Middle East. Grain export is an important component of the country’s economy and contributes to its development.
Thus, the increase in Kazakhstan’s grain reserves has a positive effect on the country’s economy and ensures the stability of the production of bread and other food products. Kazakhstan continues to develop agriculture and actively work to increase the production of grain crops, which allows it to maintain its leading position in the world market for the export of grain products.
