Soybean processing plants in Ukraine is temporarily not working due to lack of raw materials

From the beginning of July this year, soybean processing plants temporarily do not carry out trade and purchase of raw materials. In addition, production capacity is also temporarily inactive. This situation on the market is due to the seasonal shortage of raw materials.

Such information was provided by the portal “APK-Inform”.

According to information from experts, most oil processing plants are now carrying out seasonal maintenance work on their facilities.

According to representatives of the factories, the oilseed processing will start together with the beginning of harvesting.

Ukraine recently faced a serious problem with the supply of soybeans, which led to the shutdown of several processing plants. Some companies have already announced the temporary closure of production until the situation with raw material supply improves. This could result in a shortage of products in the market and an increase in prices for soybean products. Additionally, this may affect the export of soybean meal and other products, which are an important source of income for Ukrainian companies. Experts advise farmers and agricultural product manufacturers to pay more attention to crop diversification and seek new sources of raw material supply to mitigate risks and make production more resilient to potential market problems.
