According to information received from the Ministry of National Economy of Kazakhstan, over 9.2 million tons of grain crops are in the bins as of April 1. Last month the stocks amounted to 10.2 million tons.

Statistics say that the food grain stocks amounted to 6.7 million tons, the amount of grain for seeds reached 1.56 million tons and the stocks of feed grain amounted to 0.94 million tons.

More than 7.5 million tons of wheat are stored in the bins of Kazakhstan, while the stock of barley amounts to 1 million tons.

It should be recalled that the harvest of 2018 is less to the last year’s harvest by 1.5%.

As of the beginning of April 2019, the grain reserves in Kazakhstan’s warehouses amounted to 9.2 million tonnes, which is significantly higher than the previous year. The country continues to maintain its leading position in the production of grain crops in the region and successfully supplies its citizens and export contracts. The increase in grain production volumes contributes to the strengthening of Kazakhstan’s economy and its position in the global market.
