Ukraine exported almost 5 million tons of the sunflower oil during the 9 months of 2020
Exports of sunflower oil, cottonseed and safflower oil from Ukraine during the first 9 months of 2020 amounted to almost 5 million tons. In comparison with the previous year, the export of sunflower oil increased by 22% of the product amount and by 31% of the product cost (+857 million USD).
The main importers of Ukrainian sunflower oil during this period were the following countries:
– India – 25% of the total exported oil (1.25 million tons and 921.2 million USD).
– China – 15% of the total exported oil (770 thousand tons and 566.3 million USD).
– The Netherlands – 10% of the total exported oil (476.2 thousand tons and 350.3 million USD).
Export to other countries amounted to 2.49 million tons and 1.83 billion USD.
