New technologies are being introduced in the East Kazakhstan region
The main goal of applying “smart technologies” in the agrarian sector in Kazakhstan is to increase labor productivity, as well as to increase the volume of export supplies of processed products by at least 2.5 times for the next 5 years.
To date, the main activity of specialists is to adapt existing technologies to agricultural sector in Kazakhstan.
Speaking about the plant growing industry, by “smart technologies” we mean the use of various methods of precision farming, namely the use of GPS systems. In addition, specialists are involved into creating the cartography of fields, which is needed to create tables on the content of chemical elements in the soil. Also, the installation of various sensors is planned.
The first results of work in this direction can be observed already in the first half of July 2018.
The East Kazakhstan region is actively implementing new technologies in agriculture. One of these technologies is the use of specialized sensors and drones for monitoring crop conditions and determining soil moisture levels. These technologies allow for timely identification of plant growth problems and prevention, significantly increasing crop yields and the economic efficiency of agriculture. Additionally, new methods of soil treatment are being introduced, including the use of biotechnology and bio-additives, which reduces the use of chemical fertilizers and increases environmental safety. These technologies help to increase the competitiveness of agriculture in the East Kazakhstan region on the global market and ensure its sustainable development in the future.
