During the first 4 months of 2020, the production of unrefined sunflower oil increased by 8% (about 270 thousand tons), the production of sunflower meal increased by almost 4% (about 3 million tons), compared to the same period of the last year.

This information was received from the State Statistics of Ukraine.

At the same time, soybean oil production decreased by almost 14% (about 122 thousand tons), soybean meal production decreased by almost 15% (in total about 122 thousand tons), compared with the same period of 2019. The decrease in soybean production is due to a shortage of soybeans.
