Harvesting campaign has started in the three federal districts of Russia
As of 05.07.2021, grains and legumes have already been harvested from 1 million hectares; in the same period in 2020, almost 2.5 million hectares have been harvested. The threshed grain amounts to 3.7 million tonnes (7.5 million tonnes a year earlier). The yield was 36.4 c/ha (31.3 c/ha in 2020).
Wheat was harvested from 590 thousand hectares, the threshed – almost 2 million tons, the yield amounts to 32.9 cwt/ha.
Barley was harvested from 406 thousand hectares, threshed – 1.68 million tonnes, the yield amounts to 41.3 cwt/ha.
Rapeseed was harvested from 7.4 thousand hectares;17 thousand tonnes of oilseeds yielded, yield – 23.1 cwt/ha.
At the moment harvest work is underway in three federal districts: Yuzhny (1.9 million tonnes threshed, the yield is 47.5 centners/ha), North Caucasian (1.7 million tonnes threshed, the yield is 31.2 centners/ha), and Privolzhsky (136.5 thousand tonnes threshed, the yield is 16.2 centners/ha).
