As of the end of April, 41.2 million tons of grain were delivered from Ukraine to foreign markets. This figure is 24% more than it was shipped over the same period last marketing season.

This information was obtained from Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.

During this period, more than 14 million tons of wheat were shipped abroad. In addition, barley supplies reached 3.3 million tons, while corn supplies reached 23 million tons.

It should be added that during the reporting period, the exports of wheat flour reached nearly 0.23 million tons.

Ukraine continues to be one of the largest grain exporters in the world, and in the 18/19 marketing year, the country set a new record for export volume. Grain is one of Ukraine’s key export commodities, and this record result reflects the growing demand for Ukrainian grain on a global scale. The main buyers are countries in Asia, Africa, and Europe. The development of the agricultural sector and grain exports contributes to the economic growth of Ukraine and strengthens its position in the global market.
