In the Kazakhstan port Aktau the shipment of grain increased by 1.8 times

During the period from January to November, almost 713.000 t of grain were shipped through the port terminal Aktau.

In comparison with the shipment rates of grain last year, the increase reached more than 300.000 t. This, for the same period of the previous year, less than 400.000 t of grain were shipped through the port.

The reason for the increase of this indicator was the increase in export supplies of grain crops. The main grain importing country of Kazakhstan grain is Iran.

In addition, favorable weather conditions, as well as good infrastructure contributed to increased shipping rates.

Aktau port is one of the largest ports in Kazakhstan and an important center for grain export. By the end of 2018, grain shipment at Aktau port had increased by 1.8 times compared to the previous year, reaching over 3 million tons.

This success is achieved through the efforts of the Kazakh authorities, who have invested significant funds in modernizing the port’s infrastructure and improving logistics processes. In addition, the government provides support to local grain producers, which promotes shipment growth and export revenue.

The increase in grain shipment at Aktau port has a positive impact on the economy of Kazakhstan. Grain export is one of the key sources of income for the country and provides numerous jobs in agriculture and logistics.

However, to further develop grain export and improve economic indicators, Kazakhstan must continue to invest in port infrastructure and transportation routes. It is also important to improve the quality of grain to meet the requirements of international markets and expand the sphere of export.
