According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture, as of October 4, slightly more than 19 million tons of grain crops were harvested in Kazakhstan. Now the average yield in the country is 1.37 t/ha. The territory from which the crops were harvested amounted to 13.86 million hectares, which is more than 92% of the total amount of land.

It should be recalled that the forecast of this year on the grain harvest is 20 million tons.

It should also be added that the number of territories allocated for grain is 15 million hectares, of which more than 11 million are allocated for wheat.

We give the figures of the past year as of the indicated date for comparison: the amount of harvested grain was 21.2 million tons, which accounted for more than 99% of the total amount.

In 2018, Kazakhstan harvested over 19 million tons of grain, which is one of the highest yields in recent years. This was achieved through the improvement of technology and the expansion of areas allocated for growing grain crops. The record grain harvest in Kazakhstan has a positive impact on the country’s economy, contributing to increased exports and improved performance in the agricultural sector. Kazakhstan continues to work on improving the quality of its grain and expanding its export geography to strengthen its position in the global grain market.
