According to information from the Ministry of Agriculture, as of October 22 in Kazakhstan, the grain harvesting campaign was completed by 99.2%.

Also, according to information received, the amount of harvested grain reached 22.110.000 t, while the average yield was 1.48 tons per hectare.

There are only two regions left, where harvesting campaign is not finished yet. These are Akmola and North Kazakhstan regions.

In the Akmola region, the harvesting campaign was completed by 99%, and the amount of harvested grain was 5.510.000 t (the yield was 1.29 tons per hectare).

In the North Kazakhstan region, harvesting was completed by 99.3%, and the amount of harvested grain reached more than 5.000.000 t (yield reached 1.8 tons per hectare).

It should be recalled that harvesting in the Kostanay region was completed last week. The volume of harvested grain amounted to 5.200.000 t.

This year’s harvest season in Kazakhstan has resulted in record grain yields of over 22 million tons, a 7.3% increase compared to the previous year. The success of the harvest is attributed to the use of new technologies in agriculture, as well as favorable weather conditions during the growing season. Grain yield is an important factor in the economic development of Kazakhstan, as grain is one of the country’s main export commodities. However, experts note that for further development of Kazakhstan’s agriculture, it is necessary to continue improving technologies, infrastructure, and access to financial resources for farmers. The Kazakhstani government is already taking measures to address these issues and promote the development of agriculture.
