The conditions for purchasing wheat by the government have been changed in Kazakhstan
The government changed the conditions for purchasing wheat from the agrarians. At the end of December of the current marketing year, a statement was made, which stated that the Prodcorporatsia would purchase about 2 million tons of wheat at a price higher than the market price, namely at 42 thousand tenge per ton.
The purchase of wheat by the Prodcorporatsia took place online, and special quotas were established to distribute purchases fairly among agricultural producers.
However, thanks to the petition of administrators of some regions, agricultural producers have an opportunity to sell more grain than it is established by quota.
In order to accelerate sales, and therefore support the agricultural producers of the country, the Prodcorporatsia cancelled the following conditions and now farmers do not have to pay for storage of grain for three months, but those who have already paid for this service, the government will make a refund. In addition, the Prodcorporatsia has cancelled quotas and given up to check the sown areas using space images.
Now the commission on procurement must control the accuracy of the information that is being applied.
