Kazakhstan has already harvested 50% of its crops

As of 03.09.2021, the harvesting of cereals and legumes has been completed on almost 8 million hectares (49.4% of the planned).  6.3 million tonnes were threshed from this area, the average yield was 8 cwt/ha.

This year, the area for sowing crops amounted to 23 million hectares:

– cereals and legumes – 16.1 million hectares, including wheat – 12.9 million hectares;

– oilseeds – 3,1 million hectares;

– sugar beet – 21.7 thousand hectares;

– forage crops – 3.2 million hectares.

The Ministry of Agriculture expects a gross harvest of 15.3 million tonnes of grain crops.
