In Kazakhstan, 2018 was marked by an over-fulfulled plan on export of agricultural products by 8.5%
During the period from January to November last year, there was a steady increase in the volume of foreign shipments. Supplies in physical weight increased by 33%, and in monetary terms by 25%. Thus, the year 2018 was marked by an over-fulfilled plan on the export supplies of agricultural products by 8.5% and reached 2.66 billion dollars, while the projected amount was 2.45 billion dollars.
Exports of plant products amounted to 8.500.000 tons in the amount of 1.56 billion dollars. The export figures for processed products reached 3.13 million tons worth 1 billion dollars.
In addition, exports to China increased by 43%, to Iran by 2.1 times, to the EU by 13.8%, to Turkey by 44.3%, etc.
In 2018, Kazakhstan exceeded its agricultural exports plan by 8.5%, reaching a total export volume of 3.8 million tons. This success is a sign of the country’s successful agricultural development and strengthening of its position in the global market for agricultural products. Kazakhstan actively develops its exports on the global market, which can have a positive impact on the country’s economy by creating new jobs and increasing export volumes. However, it is necessary to consider possible risks, such as changes in the global economy and weather conditions, which may affect the volumes of production and exports of agricultural products in Kazakhstan.
