In December 2018, the maximum values for the production of vegetable oil in Kazakhstan were obtained.

According to the obtained statistics, in the last month of 2018 in Kazakhstan nearly 47,000 tons of oils were produced. This figure is considered the highest last year.

The biggest volumer of oil produced was refined sunflower oil, namely a slightly less than 26,000 tons, which is a historical maximum for oil extraction plants in Kazakhstan. In the Shymkentn region, there was an increase in the production of sunflower oil by 4.7 times, compared with previous periods.

In addition, the volume of production of unrefined sunflower oil in December reached slightly more than 11 thousand tons, which is equal to the usual production volume during the year.

In December 2018, Kazakhstan achieved record levels of vegetable oil production in recent years. Over 35,000 tons of oil were produced, which is a record result. The increase in vegetable oil production is an important step towards developing Kazakhstan’s economy and strengthening the country’s position in the global market for agricultural products. Vegetable oil is used in various industries and the food industry, so its increased production contributes to improving the country’s economic situation. However, it is important to consider potential risks, such as changes in demand for vegetable oil in the global market and changes in weather conditions that could affect crop yields. Nevertheless, Kazakhstan continues to increase its production of vegetable oil and develop its economy in this field.
