
1/3 of all grain in Kazakhstan is stored in Akmola region
In January-February of this year, grain stocks decreased in all regions of Kazakhstan, except for Almaty. In Almaty the increase in stock occurred due to internal and external supplies. Most of all the grain volume decreased in Akmola region, almost 800 thousand tons. At the same time, it still remains the main grain storage for the whole of Kazakhstan. It contains 1/3 of the country’s reserves. Also more than 60 thousand tons has decreased in other four regions of Kazakhstan.
As of 01.07.2020, there were 3.3 million tons of grain in the country, stocks decreased by 25% (1.2 million tons).
As of 01.08.2020, stocks have decreased by almost 400 tons (almost 12%).
As of 01.09.2020 increased by 3 million tons (amounted to more than 6 million tons).
As of 01.10.2020, the volume of grain was 1.5 million tons.
As of 01.11.2020 – 1.7 million tons.
As of 01.12.2020 – 1.4 million tons (-15%).
As of 01.01.2021 -1.27 million tons (-10%).
As of 01.03.2021 – 1 million tons (-20%).
