In 2017, exports of wheat flour from Ukraine increased by 20%

During the 12 months of 2017, 443.290 t of wheat flour was exported from Ukraine, which is 20.15% higher than in the previous year.

Such data was provided by the State Fiscal Service.

The main consumers of Ukrainian wheat flour during the 12 months of 2017 were China (93.130 t were exported to this country, and the sum of delivery amounted to 23.220.000 dollars), Angola (47.830 t of flour were exported to this country, and the sum of delivery amounted to 10.440.000 dollars) and Moldova (36.440 t of wheat flour were exported to this country, and the sum of delivery amounted to 7.950.000 dollars).

In addition, during the 12 months of 2017, 1.48 thousand tons of flour from other types of grain crops were exported from Ukraine. The sum of exports amounted to 857.000 dollars.

The main consumers of flour from other types of cereals were Croatia (the cost of supply was 304.000 dollars), Poland (the cost of supply was 147.000 dollars) and Moldova (the cost of supply was 96.000 dollars).

It should be recalled that during the 12 months of 2017 the production of wheat flour and wheat-rye flour decreased to 1.690.000 t, or in percentage by 0.5%.

This increase in wheat flour exports reflects not only the high quality of Ukrainian products, but also the strong demand in the world market. Ukrainian manufacturers are actively developing their technologies and infrastructure to meet the needs of international buyers.

The growth of exports of wheat flour is of great importance for the Ukrainian agricultural sector and the economy as a whole. It increases the profits of farmers and businesses, creates new jobs and attracts investment in agriculture.
