Such information was provided by the State Statistics Committee.

The structure of the grain harvest during the previous year was as follows. Last year, 26.110.000 t of wheat were grown, and the average yield was 4100 kg/ha. The second most produced crop is grain maize. 24.110.000 t of corn were produced, while the yield was slightly more than 4100 kg/ha. Then comes barley (8.729.000 t were harvested, yield was 3310 kg/ha), rye (506.800 t were harvested, yield was 2970 kg/ha), oats (471.000 t were harvested, the yield was almost 2400 kg/ha), buckwheat (180.000 t were harvested, yields amounted to almost 1000 kg/ha), rice (almost 64.000 t were harvested, yields amounted to 5050 kg/ha), peas (1.100.000 t, yield amounted to 2650 kg/ha).

Analyzing the data on the yield of grain crops in Ukraine for 2017, one can see positive trends and prospects for the development of agriculture. This year, Ukraine has achieved impressive results in the production of wheat, barley, corn and other grains. Improved agricultural practices and the use of new hybrids and varieties have played an important role in increasing yields. This opens up new opportunities for farmers, increases the competitiveness of Ukrainian grains in the global market and attracts the interest of investors.Assess the current dynamics, study best practices in agriculture and predict the prospects for growth in grain yields in Ukraine.Together we can continue to develop and to improve agriculture in the country.
