Ukraine has harvested over 6 million tons of soybeans for the first time
Ukraine has set a new record in the agricultural sector – in 2024, more than 6 million tons of soybeans were harvested for the first time. According to the Ministry of Agrarian Policy, this was made possible by expanding the sown areas and introducing modern technologies and favorable weather conditions.
The main soybean producers were Poltava, Vinnytsia and Kirovohrad regions, which together provided more than half of the harvest. Experts note that the quality of the harvested soybeans is at a high level, which opens up new opportunities for export to international markets.
Drying technologies play a key role in preserving and preparing the crop for processing. Drying oilseeds, in particular soybeans, is an important stage that allows you to prevent crop losses and preserve its quality. Highly efficient Akron mine grain dryers of the Svegma series ensure uniform removal of moisture from grain with minimal energy consumption. Such equipment is important for large agricultural enterprises working with soybeans, sunflowers or rapeseed. It allows you to keep the product in optimal condition even in the case of excess moisture.
The new record in soybean harvest indicates the high potential of the Ukrainian agricultural sector. Thanks to modern technologies, both in growing and processing the crop, Ukraine is strengthening its position in the global oilseed market.
