Spring wheat sowing in Russia is over
Spring crops have been sown in Russia as of today on 49 million hectares; 29 million hectares of spring crops (98% of the plan) of which: spring wheat – 13 million hectares (101% of the plan), spring barley – 7 million hectares (94% of the plan), grain maize – almost 3 million hectares (103% of the plan), rice – 179 thousand hectares (93% of the plan).
As for oilseeds, sunflowers are planted on 9 million hectares (104% of the plan), spring rapeseed – more than 1 million hectares (108% of the plan), soybeans – more than 2 million hectares (81% of the plan). In addition, sugar beet was sown on 1 million hectares (96% of the plan).
