Since the beginning of the current season 20/21, wheat exports from Russia amounted to about 30 million tons
At the end of January, Russia exported wheat in the amount of 29.7 million tons, taking into account exports to the countries of the Customs Union. This value increased by 26% compared to the same period of 19/20 MY.
During the period from July 1, 2020 to January 28, 2021, the export of other agricultural crops amounted to:
Barley – 4.1 million tons (increased by 49% compared to the previous season);
Corn – 1.4 million tons;
Peas – 0.5 million tons (increased by 44%);
Wheat bran – 0.4 million tons;
Soybeans – 0.8 million tons (increased by 15%);
Sunflower meal – 0.8 million tons;
Sunflower seeds – 0.6 million tons;
Rapessed – 0.5 million tons (increased by 65%);
Flax seeds – 0.4 million tons.
During the reporting period, the Russian Federation exported about 41 million tons of grain crops, oilseeds and their processing products, which exceeded the figure for the same period of the previous season by 20%. The amount of cereals exported reached 35.4 million tons, and the amount of legumes reached 0.8 million tons. The above-mentioned products were exported to 130 countries of the world. A year ago, the export geography included 131 countries.
