Spring crops such as wheat, barley, oats, and rye play an important role in Kazakhstan’s agriculture, and the yields of these crops have a direct impact on the country’s economy. At the end of May, the harvest of spring crops was carried out in various regions of Kazakhstan, and in this article, we present the overall picture of yields. Despite differences in weather conditions and cultivation methods in different regions, it can be concluded that the yield of spring crops this year was good overall. However, some regions faced problems due to weather conditions and plant diseases, which led to a decrease in yields. The results of the harvest of spring crops are important information for farmers, agribusinesses, and the government of Kazakhstan, who use it for planning future activities and developing agriculture development strategies.

As spring crops continue to be sown across Kazakhstan, local producers are increasingly focusing not only on acreage but also on quality control. To ensure the high standards of grain entering the market, modern grain analyzers are being widely adopted. Devices such as the Granolyser and Infracont NIR analyzers allow for rapid, precise measurement of key quality parameters including moisture, protein, and oil content. Their implementation supports farmers and exporters in making informed decisions during harvest and post-harvest processing, enhancing both domestic and international competitiveness.
