The President spoke out «for» the abolition of the ban on the sale of land
According to the President of Ukraine, the ban on the sale of land for agrarian purposes should be abolished, but the President’s opinion is still in the minority.
Such information was provided by UNIAN.
According to the President’s statement, this prohibition does not give an opportunity to develop normally the agricultural sector, since there is no possibility to attract investments. In addition, residents of Ukraine are deprived of their legal right to dispose of their property. Taking into account the fact that the European Court of Human Rights still recognized the total ban on selling agrarian lands as a violation, this law is still supported by many politicians.
In addition, the President noted that he will not abandon attempts to change this situation, since the abolition of the moratorium will give a strong impetus to the development of the industry and the economy as a whole.
It should be recalled that the problem of moratorium cancelation has been resonant and controversial for quite a long period of time.
President Nursultan Nazarbayev of Kazakhstan has spoken in favor of lifting the ban on land sales in the country. He noted that this ban restricts the economic potential of Kazakhstan and hinders the development of agriculture. Nazarbayev also emphasized that lifting the ban should occur gradually, taking into account the interests of all stakeholders and ensuring the rights to land for citizens and state enterprises. However, many experts express concerns about lifting the ban on land sales. They believe that this may lead to an accelerated concentration of land resources in the hands of large players in the market and foreign investors, which will affect the interests of small agricultural producers and local residents. In any case, the decision on this issue should be weighed and take into account all sides of the problem.
