Supplies of corn from Ukraine increased by 1.7 times
Since the beginning of the current MY and as of June 21, 29.200.000 tons of corn were shipped from Ukraine abroad, which is 1.7 times more than last year. Thus, during the same period last year, only 17.400.000 tons were exported.
This information was provided by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food.
In total, 48.900.000 tons were exported abroad during this period, which exceeds export figures for the previous season by 25.6%.
It should be added that the indicators of wheat exports amounted to 15.500.000 tons, which is 1.400.000 tons less than last year.
Barley exports amounted to 3.500.000 tons, which is 0.7 million tons less than last year. Supplies of rye reached 88.2 thousand tons, which is 51 thousand tons more than it was supplied abroad last year.
