Indicators of barley export in 2017
During the entire 2017, Ukraine managed to export 4.86 million tons of barley. The cost of exports was 710.6 million dollars.
Such data was provided by the State Fiscal Service.
The given indicator exceeds the data for 2016 by 60 thousand tons of barley, with the export amounted to nearly 666 million dollars. The cost of the export increased by 7% in percentage ratio.
The main importers of the Ukrainian barley are countries such as Saudi Arabia (the amount of supplies was just over 295 million dollars, or as a percentage 41.5% of total exports), followed by China (the amount of supplies was just under 124 million dollars, or 17.4%), and the third country of the top is Libya (the amount of supplies amounted to 58.4 million dollar, or in a percentage ratio to 8.2%).
It should be recalled that the grain export during the period from the beginning of 2017/18 marketing year amounted to 21.3 million tons.
