Exports volume of corn from Ukraine during November of 2017/18 marketing year
Exports volume of corn from Ukraine during November, according to preliminary estimates, reached 1.1 million tons. This figure is 2.3 times higher than in October, but almost half as much lower as the figure of the same period of the 2016/17 marketing year.

The statement also says that this November supply was the smallest in the last seven marketing years.
It should be recalled that in October, half a million ton of corn was exported. This figure is 63% lower than the export volume for the same period of the previous marketing year. In the 2016/17 marketing year, the figure for October was 1.4 million tons.
In addition, the report says that one of the main reasons for the decrease in the level of corn supplies is a reduction in production of this grain in Ukraine due to a significant decrease in yields in the main regions.
For reference: the volume of grain exports from the beginning of 2017/18 marketing year until today amounted to 17.5 million tons. It should be noted that this figure is 1.3 million tons lower than the figure for the same period last year.
November 2017/18 of the marketing year turned out to be an important period for corn exports from Ukraine. The total volume of deliveries reached significant figures, indicating the growth of interest in Ukrainian corn on the international market.
