The cancellation of the moratorium on the sale of land may be adopted before the end of the year

According to forecasts of the Verkhovna Rada, the ban on the sale of agricultural land can be cancelled by the end of this year.

Such information was provided by the internet portal AgroPolit.com

The European Court of Human Rights has found this ban illegal, since it violates the rights of residents of that country to dispose of their property. Approximately the same suit was sent to the Constitutional Court, but to no avail.

Deputy of Ukraine believes that those who are in favour of a ban make a significant contribution to economic poverty. Therefore, now the issue of opening up the land market is one of the most important. Of course, it is impossible to make all the necessary changes to the legislation at once, but it is necessary at least to cancel the ban, and then to adopt a basic law on land.

It should be recalled that the President of Ukraine stands for the abolition of this ban, but his opinion refers to a political minority.

Kazakhstan has had a land sale moratorium in place since 2000, which was established to protect national interests and prevent foreign companies from buying up land. However, in recent years, there has been an increased interest in repealing the moratorium and allowing land sales to attract investment and develop the agricultural sector of the economy. In this article, we discuss the possibility of the moratorium being lifted by the end of the year and its impact on the development of the agricultural sector. On the one hand, lifting the moratorium may attract investment, increase agricultural production, and create new jobs. On the other hand, foreign companies buying up land may have negative consequences for the economy and society. Regardless of whether the moratorium is repealed or not, the decision will have a significant impact on Kazakhstan’s agricultural sector and requires careful consideration and analysis by the government and business community.
