About 50% of winter crops in Ukraine are in good condition
As of March 1, 2018, winter crops have brairded on the territory of 7.24 million hectares, and almost half of the total amount of crops are estimated to be in good condition (3.56 million hectares).

Also, the report says that the condition of 37.4% of winter crops is estimated to be in satisfactory condition and another 13.4% of the winter crops are in a weak condition.
In addition, as of wheat, on the reporting date, 6.3 million hectares of winter crops have brairded, 49% of which are estimated as good, 37.7% as satisfactory and 13.4% as weak.
Also, more than half of the germinated rye, barley and rape are in good condition.
According to the latest data, about half of the winter crops in Ukraine are in good condition. As of early March 2018, the condition of winter crops was assessed as good for 49.7% of grain and legume crops. However, some areas are affected by frost damage and a lack of moisture. This can affect crop yield and quality.
