Grain export supplies reached over 12 million tons
From the beginning of 19/20 MY and as of September 24, 12.4 million tons of grain and leguminous crops were shipped from Ukraine abroad. The results of the export campaign this year exceeded the results of last year by 4 million tons or by 1.5 times.

During the specified period, the volumes of wheat supplies reached 7.700.000 tons. The increase in supplies amounted to 2.890.000 tons. In addition, the volumes of supplies of barley and corn increased by 839 thousand tons and 516 thousand tons, respectively. Thus, over the indicated period, 2.76 million tons of barley and 1.93 million tons of corn were supplied abroad.
It should be recalled that this year wheat exports are projected at 18.2 million tons, which will exceed the figure of the past season by 18%.
According to reports, Ukrainian grain crops are becoming increasingly competitive on the global level. Most grain crops are grown on agricultural lands in the south and center of the country.
