In 2018, the volume of barley exports from Ukraine to Saudi Arabia reached 6.2 million tons, a record high in recent years, indicating high demand for Ukrainian barley on the world market. Saudi Arabia is one of the largest consumers of barley, which is used for livestock feed production. The increase in the volume of barley exports from Ukraine to Saudi Arabia has a positive impact on the country’s agricultural economy, contributing to increased production and income for producers. Ukrainian barley producers continue to work on improving the quality of their products and production technologies to meet the needs of their foreign partners and strengthen their position in the global barley market.
