New policy of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan
The “Maps for the Development of the Agro-Industrial Complex” were presented in Karaganda. There are 13 such maps now and each of them includes detailed mechanisms for carrying out the tasks that were set in February this year, when a new program for the development of the agricultural sector in the country was adopted for a period of 5 years. Such a map was made separately for each region of the country and based on existing problems.
The main goal of the new development program is the cultivation of such crops, the demand for which is high on the foreign market. Since the country is endowed with the richest natural resources for agriculture, it is obvious that production volumes far exceed the needs of the domestic market. Therefore, the main task for today is to build the vector of development for agricultural workers, how to act to sell products at competitive prices to foreign markets.
And the key to this is the diversification of production and the reduction of wheat production. To date, oil crops, legumes and fodder crops (namely barley, flax, lentils, etc.) are more profitable crops.
It is also important to introduce innovations. The state plans to subsidize the purchase of new grain cultivars, new equipment and fertilizers.
The Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan has proposed a new policy that aims to develop the agricultural sector and increase its efficiency. It includes measures aimed at increasing production, improving product quality, increasing competitiveness in world markets and reducing dependence on imports.
One of the key measures is the development of an electronic land cadastre system, which will speed up the process of issuing land plots and simplify registration procedures. It is also planned to strengthen control over the quality of agricultural products, as well as introduce measures to stimulate innovation in the agricultural sector.
The new policy of the Ministry of Agriculture of Kazakhstan is designed not only to increase production and improve product quality, but also to improve the living and working conditions of the rural population, creating new jobs and increasing incomes. These measures are aimed at improving the welfare of all the people of Kazakhstan.
