Less than 7 million tons of wheat left for export from Ukraine
According to Appendix 1 of the Memorandum of Understanding for the current marketing season, the possible export volume amounts to 6.9 million tons.
Since the beginning of the current marketing season, 57% of the total export volume has been shipped abroad, including wheat of all classes and flour converted into grain.
The amount of food wheat delivered abroad amounted to 59% of the total volume, while feed wheat reached 41%.
Thus, the indicators of foreign shipments of grain crops this season reached 17.37 million tons, of which the amount of exported wheat was nearly 9.1 million tons.
It should be reminded that, according to the memorandum, wheat deliveries are expected to reach 16 million tons, of which 50% is allocated for food wheat and 50% for feed wheat.
Since the beginning of the current year, the export of grain crops from Ukraine continues to grow. The increase in grain production and the opening of new markets have contributed to the growth of exports. In particular, Ukrainian producers are actively cooperating with China and India, which allows them to strengthen their positions in the global grain market. Such positive dynamics in grain exports contribute to the development of the Ukrainian economy and strengthen its position in the global arena.
