Kazakhstan’s grain exports are growing, and logistics need to keep pace

Since the beginning of the 2025/26 marketing year, Kazakhstan has significantly increased its exports of grain and flour. According to NC Kazakhstan Temir Zholy JSC, from September 2025 to May 2026, exports of grain and flour in grain equivalent reached 12.2 million tonnes. This is 13% higher than in the same period of the previous season, when 10.7 million tonnes were exported.

The main growth drivers were traditional importing countries in Central Asia and Afghanistan. Exports to Uzbekistan increased by 38%, from 3.6 million tonnes to 5 million tonnes. Shipments to Kyrgyzstan grew 1.5 times, from 312 thousand tonnes to 474 thousand tonnes. Exports to Afghanistan reached 2 million tonnes, up 58% year-on-year. Shipments to Turkmenistan increased by 44%, from 137 thousand tonnes to 197 thousand tonnes.

This positive trend reflects not only stable demand for Kazakhstan’s agricultural products, but also the growing pressure on logistics infrastructure. As larger volumes of grain pass through elevators, terminals and processing facilities, the speed of receiving, unloading, handling and further transportation becomes increasingly important.

During peak periods, even small delays in truck unloading can lead to queues, vehicle downtime and additional costs. That is why equipment for fast and safe unloading is becoming an important part of modern grain infrastructure.

One of these solutions is side truck unloaders. 3S Company offers Turkish-made hydraulic side truck unloaders designed for fast and efficient grain unloading through the side board of a truck or trailer.

This equipment can be used both with and without vehicle uncoupling, making it suitable for different logistics schemes and types of transport. A side truck unloader helps speed up grain unloading, reduce the workload on personnel and make operations at the site more predictable.

For farms, grain elevators, processing plants and logistics facilities, such solutions are especially relevant during periods of active grain intake and shipment. Fast truck unloading helps reduce vehicle downtime, increase the throughput capacity of the enterprise and handle growing grain volumes more efficiently.

The growth of Kazakhstan’s grain exports shows that the market is developing, and infrastructure requirements are growing along with it. Modern truck unloaders help enterprises adapt to these conditions and build more stable and efficient logistics processes.
