Despite the arrival of frosts, winter crops are in satisfactory conditions throughout the country.

Such information was provided by Interfax-Ukraine with reference to the data received from the Hydrometeorological Center.

The representative of the Hydrometeorological Center said that for today, farmers should not be concerned about crops, since the arrival of frosts no longer has a significant impact on vegetation.

As the report says, frosty weather will last until January 19, but the lowest temperatures are expected in the northeast. There, according to forecasts, the temperature will drop from -10С to -14С.

After January 19, precipitation is expected, namely rain and snow. There is also a possibility of an increase in temperature.

As previously reported by the Ministry of Agrarian Policy and Food, at the beginning of January the condition of approximately 86% of crops was good and satisfactory. While the condition of 14% of crops was weak.

Moreover, it is worth mentioning that at the beginning of January, 97% of winter rapeseed had already sprouted.
