Results of 2017: Production of sunflower oil in Ukraine
During 2017, Ukraine manufactured 5.210.000 tons of sunflower oil. Compared to last year, in Ukraine the production of sunflower oil increased by 17%.
Such information was provided by the State Statistics Committee of Ukraine.
In December 2017, 477.000 tons of sunflower oil were manufactured, which is 15.4% less than in December 2016.
It should be recalled that during the entire 2017, Ukraine managed to supply 73.23 thousand tons of sunflower oil to international markets. The sum of supply amounted to 29.73 million dollars. 2017 turned out to be a successful year for the production of sunflower oil in Ukraine. During this period, the industry has demonstrated stable growth and a significant contribution to the country’s economy. Due to the high quality of raw materials and efficient technologies, Ukrainian sunflower oil producers were able to meet demand both in the domestic and foreign markets As a result, export supplies increased significantly, which contributed to the strengthening of Ukraine’s position in the global sunflower oil sector.The results of 2017 speak of the reliability and competitiveness of Ukrainian producers.In the future, the sunflower oil sector expects further development and growth based on innovation and the desire for improvement We are proud to be a part of this dynamic process and offer a partnership to ensure a stable supply of high quality Ukrainian sunflower oil.
