Ukrainian corn exports decreased by 28% compared to 2020

 

Starting from 01.07.2020 to 12.05.2021 export of Ukrainian grain is almost 40 million tons, which is 24% less than the reporting date of the previous MY (more than 52 million tons).

The volumes of supply of wheat and corn for this period is 87% (15.3 million tons) and 82% (19.61 million tons), respectively, of the maximum export volume prescribed in the Grain Memorandum.

 

 

Export volumes for the period 01.07.20 – 12.05.21 separately by crops:

Wheat – 15 million tons (4.2 million tons or 22% less compared to 19/20MY),

Barley – 4 million tons (649.0 thousand tons or 14% less ),

Rye – 1.7 thousand tons (-6.5 thousand tons or 79%),

Corn – 20 million tons (-7.7 million tons or 28%).
