During 12 months of 2017 from Ukraine almost 2.9 million tons of soybeans were supplied to foreign markets, which exceeds the indicator of 2016 by almost 131 thousand tons.

Such data was provided by the State Fiscal Service.

The main consumers of soybeans from Ukraine during 12 months of 2017 were such countries as Turkey (the volume of exports to this country amounted to 764.22 thousand tons and cost of export was 282.44 million dollars), Iran (the volume of exports to this country amounted to 454.06 thousand tons and cost of export was 167.82 million tons) and Egypt (the volume of exports to this country amounted to 410.2 thousand tons and cost of export was 151.66 million dollars).

It should be recalled that according to analysts’ forecasts, the harvest of soybeans in the current marketing year will be 400 thousand tons less in comparison with the indicators of the previous marketing year and amount to 3.9 million tons.
