In the 2018 draft budget, the share allocated to the agricultural sector increases
According to the statement of Maxim Martyniuk, the amount of resources allocated to the agricultural sector will increase. This money is intended for implementing programs of support from the state in the development of the agro-industrial sector and the country’s economy.
Projects that can get support from the state include partial coverage of the purchase of agricultural machinery, which is produced in Ukraine, support of farms, support of livestock farms, subsidies from the budget for the development of agriculture in general.
The deputy minister declares that farms are not only a subspecies of small business, but also a way to develop rural areas as well as create new workplaces.
The draft budget provides for the following: 1 billion UAH for farms; 2 billion UAH for subsidies and 2.3 billion UAH for livestock farms.
Also, the deputy minister asserts that there is a hope to preserve and continue the course on the development of agriculture for another three years.
