
Fifteen million UAH was allocated to help agrarians of Odessa region
The agrarians of Odessa region received 15 million UAH in 2020 from the regional budget. This information was provided by the press service of the Odessa Regional State Administration.
Petriv Ivan Mikhailovich, head of the agricultural policy department said: «Odessa Regional State Administration addressed the President of Ukraine, the Prime Minister, the Committee on Agrarian Issues of the Verkhovna Rada of Ukraine, the Presidential Commissioner for Land Issues and the Odessa Regional Council to improve the situation in the agro-industrial complex and minimize losses caused by drought. At the session of the regional council they supported the initiative of the regional state administration. They allocated another 15 million UAH to support agrarians. ”
The amount will be divided into 3 equal parts (5 million UAH) and allocated to reduce the cost of buying the main seeds of domestic crops of domestic breeding, the cost of electricity used to supply water for irrigation, and the cost of keeping cows, ewes and lamb .
In total, more than 22 million UAH. It was received from the regional budget to support the agricultural sector.
15 million UAH has been allocated to support farmers in the conditions of the pandemic in Odessa region. These funds will be used to compensate for the costs of purchasing seeds, fertilizers and equipment, as well as to create new jobs in agriculture.
